The Leibniz Edition’s Catalogue
This working tool of the editors of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz's Sämtliche Schriften und Briefe (Academy Edition) is being continuously updated under the auspices of the Potsdamer Arbeitsstelle.
Its more than 67,000 records cover almost all of Leibniz's known writings and the letters from him and to him. They can be filtered by time of origin, correspondence, place of dispatch, signature, volumes of the Akademie edition, other prints and other criteria.
All volumes of the Academy Edition available online can be accessed via links, as can all known digitalized manuscripts including the entire LH and LBr fund of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Library Hannover.
In rough transcription are also recorded the wording of so far about 3,500 mostly very short notes and excerpts. Leibniz himself has ordered this preparatory work for his Opus historicum with the help of labels and numbers. They are gradually assigned to the respective excerpted works.
The catalog can be cited as follows: Arbeitskatalog der Leibniz-Edition. Since 1901 edited by various editorial projects, published by the Leibniz edition Potsdam of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences, 2022. Please consider that the entries of works which haven't yet been published are still a work in progress and are very likely to be modified in the editing process.
